DesigningTheNews.com + CSS Galleries = Traffic!

Ooooh well. Over the past couple of days there’s been a rather large surge of visitors to the site, thanks to the readers of some of the internets’ best web design and css galleries! Seen as though this site is part of a university project, and I’m hoping to get a good mark at the end of this, I figured I’d create a post listing all of the galleries on the web this site is featured on. It’d be nice if a few of you visitors left a comment and let me know what you like, and what you don’t about the site.

The vanity list

Will be updated as and when the site makes it’s way around the net. As of 18 Apr 2008:

Thanks for mentioning NiceStylesheet here. Glad you’re seeing at least some traffic coming in.

Submitting to galleries is a great way to get traffic. I submitted my blog to a ton when I launched and made it on to quite a few and received a lot of traffic as a result. CSS Mania gave me the most traffic though. I still see some from CSS Mania today even after nearly a year.

WebCreme has been the one to beat, at nearly 900 visits on the day of submission and averaging about 200 now a few days later, it holds some sway.
